History:In the spring of 1962 a preacher named O. R. Dickerson called on a small group of people in Bryant about supporting a Southern Baptist Church with their attendance. First Baptist Church in Benton agreed to sponsor a mission. In August, First Baptist Church voted to buy land and build a place of worship at 604 S Reynolds and, in February of 1963, Bryant Southern Baptist Mission was formally dedicated.
