836 Technologies was founded to increase the efficiency of law enforcement by designing and inventing products that fulfill specific needs of the law enforcement community. Ken Slater and Brian Freeman founded the company in 2006 after finding that many of these needs had not been met. Both Ken and Brian combined have over 28 years of law enforcement experience. They are both currently police officers in California.
