Barewest's goal from the outset was to build skiing accessories that wouldn't fail, were easy-to-install, and delivered exceptional results. By the early 90's, they were on a roll, building more than booms, Barewest expanded into ski pylons as word of their work spread across the West.
By the late 90's, wakeboarding was mainstream fun, and Barewest was busy building innovative wakeboard towers. Boat companies built boats expressly for wakeboarding and Barewest built towers for specific brands and models of wakeboard boats. This experience gave Barewest the insight it needed to produce functionally and aesthetically superior wakeboard towers as the sport enjoyed a surge of popularity and growth seemingly overnight.
The challenge they faced was how they could best serve all the other boaters who wanted to wakeboard and ski but didn't have the proper tower equipment to do the job properly. No easy feat, but a challenge well worth facing as Barewest's design team went to work developing the first of several models that would fit nearly any trailerable boat on the water.
