About Me
Hello, I have been collecting movie memorabilia for about 26 years now. I started around 1982 when my parents took me to "The Great Sci-Fi Memorabilia Auction". I was not even old enough to drive. My parents dug deep into their pockets and bought me preproduction art work from "The Day Time Ended". The artist was Lane Liska of "Star Wars" fame. Next up was a article on Forest Ackerman's Ackermansion, which blew my mind and gave me the idea that this new found interest could be a reality. Fortunately growing up in the Los Angeles area and made this a lot easier. I befriended FX artists, producers and film crew personnels. At the time there was me and a few others collecting props and costumes and it was more of a treasure hunt. You would track down certain props and at the end of the day pay a couple hundred dollars and come away with your new prized possession. Collecting is a different world now but the one thing that has not changed, is the excitement and satisfaction of adding a new addition to your collection. Thanks and enjoy!
