Pilgrimage United Church of Christ has come a long way from its founding in 1978. Spiritual growth has been a hallmark of this congregation, which has seen many changes over the years. Through the years, the church met in such diverse locations as a pizza parlor and a bowling alley. But in 1983, the church dedicated its current location — an energy-efficient solar structure. In the 1990s, members of the church gathered and voted overwhelmingly to become an Open and Affirming UCC congregation.
